On this cool fall day I had planned on hiking to the Maroon Bells near Aspen, Colorado to get some shots of the peaks with early snow and fall colors. Along the way the clouds and fog settled in and it began to rain, completely obscuring the view of the Maroon Bells. Luckily I can across this colorful aspen grove and was able to capture this image during the brief lull in the rain.
