Cliff Dwellings Canyon de Chelly Face Rock

Piece description from the artist

A zoomed in view of some Ancestral Puebloan cliff dwelling ruins in the bold orange rock cliff at Canyon de Chelly National Monument in Arizona, USA. I captured this from Face Rock Overlook. The ruins are hard to see without binoculars or long zoom lens. They run along what looks like a crack or alcove that runs horizontally through the 1000 foot tall cliff. Can you imagine living like this? It makes me wonder how they got up and down. They probably had ropes, but wow! Those are tall cliffs and they had to be good climbers.
