“Clay Shores” was created as an escape from a cold Minnesota winter. This abstract landscape features unique textures of blush pink, rich terracotta and deep blues. It's sweeping movements are inspired by water, sand and rock.
Lara Eckerman creates abstract mixed-media artwork that explores the relationship between color, texture, and depth. Working primarily with acrylics, ink, and hand-painted translucent waxed papers, her landscape and floral-inspired pieces are created intuitively and are influenced by interior design and the natural world. Through layered, translucent compositions, Lara crafts visual experiences that invite viewers to immerse themselves in rhythm and subtle intrigue.
