"Sunkissed Cove" is a modern abstract landscape featuring a body of water surrounded by earthy terra cotta terrain and a soft textured grey sky. I created this piece intuitively with an emphasis on highlighting textures and creating movement and depth for its viewers.
Lara Eckerman creates abstract mixed-media artwork that explores the relationship between color, texture, and depth. Working primarily with acrylics, ink, and hand-painted translucent waxed papers, her landscape and floral-inspired pieces are created intuitively and are influenced by interior design and the natural world. Through layered, translucent compositions, Lara crafts visual experiences that invite viewers to immerse themselves in rhythm and subtle intrigue.
