while out for a walk I was fascinated by the variety of small branches scattered every where and the endless variety of their shapes I found one that serve as the model for this painting in a variety of color
Don’s work is a crossover between pure abstraction and references to the natural world. Color and texture are key elements in his work. His effort is to play with chaos and create balance through layers of transparent color and hue.
