Cattails in Lake

Piece description from the artist

This digital landscape painting depicts a tranquil wetland scene, rendered in a soft, impressionistic style with a visible canvas-texture overlay. The composition centers on a dense, isolated island of cattails rising directly out of calm, light blue-green water.
A prominent, circular cluster of bright green reeds and cattail stalks sits right of center in the midground.
Deep brown, velvety cattail heads project at varying heights throughout the green stalks, with several angled and bent blades creating an organic, natural silhouette.
A soft, light-greenish highlight accentuates the left edge of the bundle, while a muted, diffused shadow and reflection extend into the water below and to the right.
The water surface is painted in serene shades of powder blue and teal, smoothly transitioning into a slightly deeper, cooler hue toward the bottom foreground.
Fine, horizontal brushstrokes in pale yellow and white float across the surface, suggesting gentle ripples and soft light reflections.
A faint white crest or ripple outline hugs the base of the cattail island where it meets the waterline.
Dense, painterly grass in vibrant lime green and muted olive stretches across the entire bottom edge, creating a immediate foreground boundary.
A grassy bank juts into the water on the mid-left, framed by a soft, dark shadow underneath where the earth meets the water.
Background: A thin, distant band of marsh grass lines the upper horizon, giving the water body depth and closure.
