Piece description from the artist
A stunning autumn view from a low perspective along the riverbank of Capps Creek in Pierce City, Missouri. In the distance, water rushes over a dam, creating a waterfall surrounded by the colorful Ozarks landscape. Through the trees on the right, you can catch a glimpse of historic Jolly Mill, adding a touch of local history to the scene.
The surrounding trees were glowing in beautiful shades of golden yellow, orange, and touches of red as sunlight filtered through the foliage. Above, soft clouds drifted across the sky, adding depth and contrast to the brilliant fall colors.
You really can't go wrong with a scene that combines flowing water, nature, history, and autumn color. This peaceful area was once known as Jollification, and I love how the landscape still offers a beautiful connection to its past while showcasing the natural beauty of the Missouri Ozarks.
