Pathway Through Zion Red Cliffs

Piece description from the artist

This breathtaking scene showcases the dramatic view along the Zion Canyon Overlook Trail in Zion National Park, Utah, USA, as the path winds around the rugged red rock cliffs. At this point, the trail narrows into a wooden walkway that hugs the mountainside, leading toward a small cave-like alcove. The pathway clings to the steep canyon wall, offering thrilling views and a sense of adventure. This popular hike, just under one mile round trip with a modest 157-foot elevation gain, begins right off the Zion-Mount Carmel Highway (Zion Scenic Byway) near Springdale, Utah. The overlook at the end rewards hikers with sweeping vistas of Zion Canyon’s majestic landscape, one of the park’s most stunning yet easily accessible viewpoints.
