Capitol Supermoon

Piece description from the artist

Getting a great photograph of the moon doesn't happen by chance! It takes planning and patience. I have tried on multiple attempts to frame the supermoon behind the US Capitol but it wasn't until this day that I figured it out. It was freezing cold on this particular evening in January and the wind was blowing so hard that I had to brace myself against a light pole to hold the camera steady. I was happy to go home with the photo though!
