Caballera

Piece description from the artist

Caballerra was inspired by the artist's sister Sandra. Debra and her sister Sandra began dancing before they ever stepped inside a school room. They grew up watching their mother, aunts and cousins dance, playfully twirling their vividly colored handmade squaw skirts.
