I captured this beautiful view of Bridal Veil Falls in Spearfish Canyon, South Dakota, from a different perspective that reveals more of the surrounding landscape. The 60-foot waterfall spills down the rugged cliffside, while Spearfish Creek flows through the canyon below. Fresh spring greenery brightens the trees and adds a lovely contrast to the rocky cliffs and cascading water.
I love how this wider composition brings together the waterfall, the flowing creek, and the forested canyon walls, showcasing the natural beauty of the Black Hills. Located along Spearfish Canyon Scenic Byway, Bridal Veil Falls is one of the area's most recognizable waterfalls and a favorite stop for visitors exploring this area. The combination of flowing water, towering rock, and vibrant spring foliage makes this a wonderful place to pause and appreciate the beauty of God's creation.
