Boxley Valley Historic District Barn Painterly

Piece description from the artist

An old home and barn at Boxley Valley Historic District glows in the sunlight on a beautiful fall season afternoon near Ponca, Arkansas, United States. The yellow green foliage shimmer in the light. A wooden fence marks an area where it once held farm animals. The Old-Ozarks-Frontier is from the period of the 1830s to the 1870s, focusing on settlement and homesteading, with a continuing tradition of log construction extending to the 1930s. While there are several photos of this homestead, I took a different approach and turned my photo into a water color painting with texture look for a unique perspective.
