Boston Public Library, Dartmouth St.

Piece description from the artist

A pen and ink drawing of the Boston Public Library in historic Copley Square, Boston, Mass. This angle is along the Dartmouth Street side of the building, with the famed Old South Church at the Northern end of it. Founded in 1848, it is the 3rd largest public library in the United States. Historian David McCullough has described the Boston Public Library as one of the five most important libraries in the United States. Capturing this image was tricky, as I had to stand in the middle of a small traffic island while cars zoomed all around me (and if you know Boston drivers, you will also know fraught with peril that task actually was).
