Bostons old state house circular staircase

Boston's Old State House Circular Staircase

Piece description from the artist

This drawing depicts Boston's Old State House Circular Staircase. Alas, many brides have taken a bad tumble down these stairs in their high heels. Ouch! This is one of the most historic staircases in our nation's history, built in 1713. For you history buffs, the East side balcony of the Old State House is where the Declaration of Independence was read for the very first time to the citizens of Boston in 1776.
