The original of this piece is a clay monotype on fabric. Colored bisque clay is layered on a slab of wet clay and printed. It is a fun and exciting technique – only one print can be made and the results are unpredictable.

Award winning artist and photographer Joanne Donnelly holds a degree in Fine Arts and continues to explore new artistic territory with continuing education and exploration. Her work has appeared in many exhibits throughout the United States and is included in public and private collections throughout the world including Drexel University in Philadelphia and Mercer County Heritage and Cultural Commission, Trenton, NJ. Joanne's painting and photography have garnered regional recognition and awards throughout the region. Working in various media (often photography and sometimes collage and other times mixed media) allows her great freedom and flexibility. Often these mediums are combined in one work.
