Birds talk – we know they do. This one seems to have a lot to say. The graphic- like line in the background evokes the charts in bird identification books, which indicates the sound of their calls. The original is a monotype with collage.
Award winning artist and photographer Joanne Donnelly holds a degree in Fine Arts and continues to explore new artistic territory with continuing education and exploration. Her work has appeared in many exhibits throughout the United States and is included in public and private collections throughout the world including Drexel University in Philadelphia and Mercer County Heritage and Cultural Commission, Trenton, NJ. Joanne's painting and photography have garnered regional recognition and awards throughout the region. Working in various media (often photography and sometimes collage and other times mixed media) allows her great freedom and flexibility. Often these mediums are combined in one work.
