Piece description from the artist
An organic abstract study capturing the detailed vertical texture and rich amber tones of birch bark. Natural linear patterns, earthy warmth, and strong structural rhythm create a calming biophilic statement suited for modern corporate, healthcare, and hospitality interiors.
From the smallest details of macro to the vast panorama of a landscape, with a quick stop off at many subjects in between, Rick's passion for detail and capturing the moment has inspired him to shoot many different genres. He enjoys traveling to different parts of the world and will take his camera, even on work trips. More recently, he has been practicing creating artistic renditions of his photograph.
