Piece description from the artist
It has been an annual pilgrimage mine for more than twenty years to travel north from home in Albuquerque to the San Juan Mountains of southwestern Colorado. In this zone of the Rocky Mountains, some of the richest golden yellows of Autumn Aspen can be found than anywhere in the world. Despite the thriving seasonal colors, it is always the search for the perfectly composed image that represents the meditative power of autumnal nature. "Look at this… beauty!" This photograph nearly… nearly… conveys the emotional and spiritual fulfillment of experiencing a San Juan Mountain Autumn.
