The golden sun creates a burst of rays over the historic restored Ozark Mill during the fall season in Ozark, Missouri, United States. Below, the calm waters of Finley river reflect this landmark building. A waterfall flows over the dam as the colorful trees glow in the warm sunlight. The mill dates back to the early 1800s, when it originally served as a vital grist mill for the surrounding community, using the steady flow of the Finley River to grind grain for local families and farmers. Today, the restored structure preserves its historic character while standing as a reminder of the region’s early industry and heritage.
Renovated in 2021 and transformed into a restaurant, the mill retains its original architecture both inside and out, blending preserved history with modern use.
