A dreamy Autumn Forest created in mixed media. The original work was created in using alcohol inks and acrylic paint. It has an incredible amount of intricate details layered in vivid, yet soothing colors. To me, it feels like a very happy dream, with a touch of magic. It pairs with it's sister painting "Spring Forest."
I've always been an artist and painting is how I express my joy for life. Nature is my inspiration. I'm a prolific creator, with a wide range of mediums and surfaces including: encaustic wax, oil paints, alcohol inks, watercolors, acrylics, textiles, pottery, ceramic decals and glass. I live with my family in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina. We have a dog, who makes us a family of 5.
