A wide horizontal monochrome long-exposure photograph capturing the rushing glacial waters of the Athabasca River in Jasper National Park, Alberta. The silky motion of the river flows past dense coniferous pine forests toward snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies.
From the smallest details of macro to the vast panorama of a landscape, with a quick stop off at many subjects in between, Rick's passion for detail and capturing the moment has inspired him to shoot many different genres. He enjoys traveling to different parts of the world and will take his camera, even on work trips. More recently, he has been practicing creating artistic renditions of his photograph.
