Arizona Desert View Over A Wood Fence

I captured this photograph looking out over the Arizona desert over a wood log fence along the hiking trail to Horseshoe Bend in Page. It was a calm blue hour morning before sunrise in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. The sky is softly painted in blue hues as the distant clouds are starting to light up with a soft pink as the first light of day begins.

A fine gravel path winds forward through the quiet landscape, This natural corridor draws the eye deeper into the scene, creating a sense of anticipation as the trail leads toward one of the Southwest’s most iconic views. You can see someone further down the trail in the distance.

Surrounded by the stillness of the desert and set within the lands of the Navajo Nation, this moment captures the peaceful beauty of early morning, where soft light, open space, and the promise of sunrise come together in perfect harmony.
