Piece description from the artist
This is a smaller section of a larger piece
The white and blue portions remind me of snow in the Arctic, while the red/orange portions can represent a sunset, and the grey portions can represent part of a mountain
This piece contains a few techniques, including: brushstroke, paint splatter, and color blending using palette knife
I placed a large amount of white acrylic paint over an existing painting, and spread it around with palette knife (to give blending effects) while still leaving some of the previous layer to show through
I finished the piece with gold paint, splattered on the front
