Arches National Park Entry Overlook

Piece description from the artist

Standing at a pull off along the switchbacks entry road to Arches National Park, looking out over the expansive vast landscape. Located in Moab, Utah, you can see the line of cars waiting to get in. During certain times of the year they have timed entry slots that you need to pre-register for if you arrive between certain hours to help control the crowds. In the distance you can see a peak of the beautiful La Sal Mountains with a little snow still on the mountain peaks. Below you can also see the main highway that runs through Moab, Highway 191. White fluffy clouds drift in the blue sky adding contrast and softness to the rugged desert terrain completing this classic American Southwest landscape.
