Framing the rugged scale of the Canadian Rockies, this low-angle highway photograph isolates the geometric approach toward Mount Edith Cavell. High-contrast processing pairs asphalt texture and leading lines against alpine forest and towering peak facades.
From the smallest details of macro to the vast panorama of a landscape, with a quick stop off at many subjects in between, Rick's passion for detail and capturing the moment has inspired him to shoot many different genres. He enjoys traveling to different parts of the world and will take his camera, even on work trips. More recently, he has been practicing creating artistic renditions of his photograph.
