This piece was created during a cold and rainy Minnesota spring day. It's creation was my escape to warmer days ahead. The vibrant and lush green and blue tones were inspired by landscapes and textures found in nature.
Lara Eckerman creates abstract mixed-media artwork that explores the relationship between color, texture, and depth. Working primarily with acrylics, ink, and hand-painted translucent waxed papers, her landscape and floral-inspired pieces are created intuitively and are influenced by interior design and the natural world. Through layered, translucent compositions, Lara crafts visual experiences that invite viewers to immerse themselves in rhythm and subtle intrigue.
