"Crashing Waves" features layers of sky blue and warm neutral tones that call you to jump into the water, wiggle your toes in the sands and enjoy everything a day at the beach has to offer. This abstract landscape was created as an escape to calm my mind and relax its viewers.
Lara Eckerman creates abstract mixed-media artwork that explores the relationship between color, texture, and depth. Working primarily with acrylics, ink, and hand-painted translucent waxed papers, her landscape and floral-inspired pieces are created intuitively and are influenced by interior design and the natural world. Through layered, translucent compositions, Lara crafts visual experiences that invite viewers to immerse themselves in rhythm and subtle intrigue.
