This is the entrance to London’s famed Abbey Road Studios, near where the Beatles were photographed walking in that famous crosswalk. The gateway and surrounding wall is now a shrine for fans from across the world to leave their love notes in graffiti form. Steve Farley took his first photograph with a Kodak Instamatic at the age of six. He has traveled the world ever since, finding engaging imagery everywhere, and bringing it back to us. Steve creates his large-scale photographs by digitally collaging many zoomed-in images to increase detail and reveal changing colors, movement, and angles.
Steve is also the public artist who invented a way to convert photographs into glazed ceramic tile murals using a process called Tilography. His work has been exhibited in Los Angeles, Dallas, Norfolk, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, San Jose, Fort Lauderdale, and many other locations.
