Okay, so can we talk about that verbal altercation-turned friendship at British Museum? See, what had happened was, I wanted to capture a panoramic photograph of The Great Court. Because I thought it was so beautiful… Security thought otherwise.

Wait, backpedal. This was in the olden days, when I had a bulky ass tripod the size of Kevin Hart. So sneaking photographs with it was a full time job. And apparently you need a tripod permit at British Museum, so a social scuffle with these guys ensued.

But while making my case that I could produce the greatest interior shot they had ever seen, I was simultaneously capturing the panorama. See what I did there? Hold for applause. And British Museum ended up liking the photograph. The memories though…

Xynn Tii is creative director and designer in New York City. Xynn earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Psychology at University of West Florida with an emphasis in Corporate Leadership. Xynn is a certificated private pilot and drone pilot awarded by Federal Aviation Administration in 2017.

His work focuses on visual narratives through divergent cultures. This has led him to Bahamas, Croatia, England, France, Greece, Iceland, Indonesia, Italy, Nevis, Spain, and United States, among others. Xynn has produced several brand campaigns in industries of hospitality, residential, commercial, culture, and destination.

Xynn’s work was exhibited at Curator’s Voice Art Projects in Miami Florida, 2014-2015 and 2020. He hosted an artist talk where he exhibited and discussed his drone work at Kit & Ace in Miami Florida, 2016. Xynn’s most successful accomplishment is Story, an ongoing curation of visuals that he has consistently authored and photographed every 30 days since 2015.
