Zhan Ni Li

Zhan Ni Li was born and raised in Shanghai, China. At the age of 20, she moved to Toronto, Canada with her family. After graduating from Ontario College of Art & Design with a degree in Illustration, she pursued a career in fine art.

Zhan creates an alternate reality in her work to reveal her innermost emotions and thoughts. Through introspection and empathy, she hopes to capture and address something universal: isolation and the human desire for companionship.

Her artwork reflect those silent moments, where subjects escape reality but are ever-burdened by the void of loneliness.
