Whitney Eldridge

Whitney graduated from New York University with a degree in Fine Art.

Whitney uses technology to aid him in his painting process. Working from reference photos and thumbnails, he lays down an underpainting and base colors, then back to the computer to solve any unresolved compositional or color problems, and finally, with the help of the pixels, he completes his painting.

Whitney references urban street culture, extreme sports and industrial decay in his work. His rendering is loose and energetic leaving room for the viewer's own imagination.

Whitney is currently an artist and freelance designer living in Oakland, California.
