Stella Michaels

A contemporary painter born and raised in New York, Stella Michaels has been described as a channel between the past and the future, a medium connecting people to paintings. She holds a BFA from New York University, where she explored both the visual and performing arts, blending sound and vision to amplify her unique operatic approach to painting.

Working from various studios in New York, Michaels first showcased her work in a mobile pop-up gallery, selling pieces on Madison Avenue at the Mark and Carlyle Hotels, as well as in the Meatpacking District at The Standard Hotel. Her work has garnered widespread success, with collectors from around the globe embracing her dynamic style.

Through mediums such as enamels, metals, acrylics, and paper appliqués, she creates a symphony of visual rhythms and sounds that shift from ambient to power-pop, giving each piece a resonance that extends far beyond the canvas.
