I have been a professional full-time watercolorist for 23 years, and painting is my passion. I love to capture the world with intense and evolving color, for the beauty of the world is fascinating. I typically travel the country exhibiting at fine art shows and have had the distinct pleasure to meet lovers of art from all walks of life.
I have a degree in graphic design from the Art Institute of Atlanta and enjoyed life for a time as a graphic designer. I left the corporate ranks and joined the art world as a full-time artist. My watercolor genres usually include colorful landscapes that capture small nuances of nature, city life that contains imagery of the fast-paced lifestyle of vibrant urban communities, floral, and abstract designs.
My work has been featured on ABC TV shows Uncle Buck and For Life, CBS’s Hawaii 5-0, The Odd Couple, the Unicorn, Bounce TV, NBC’s Chicago P.D. and New Amsterdam. This would also include Fox's Our Kind of People, the Netfix series, Grand Army, as well as the comedy Here Today starring Billy Crystal, and the New Home Alone movie. I have created original murals for the Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint Restaurant located in downtown Atlanta, as well as Farm Burger Restaurant located in Atlanta's exclusive Buckhead area. My art is also a part of corporate collections of Verizon Communications, Nationwide Insurance, Feeding America, and Liberty Bank.
