About the Artist

Scott Baker is an Emmy Award-Winning Video Editor and Motion Designer. Outside of his normal working hours you can find Scott creating digital art under the moniker, Wiselike Studios.

A self described digital artist from an analog world, his work attempts to find harmony between the two. His primary digital tool is Photoshop. His primary analog tool is acrylic paint. His process is iterative, but never one style forever. His creative process lends itself to traveling down a variety of paths. His work includes retro travel posters, Chicago park maps, digital collage, and cosmically abstract work. His work is most simply described as varying mixes of design and digital collage.

At the start of 2021 he began an “Every Day” project creating a new piece of digital art every single day of 2021. It is creative challenges like this that drive his work and at the core of his creativity is constantly exploring new techniques, regularly learning new skills and never being afraid to start from scratch. In this spirit he also began animating his still work, expanding his prolific portfolio into motion art.
