Rafael Parra-Toro is an experimental artist and engineer who dedicates himself to digital kinetic art. He's one of the world's firsts artists to use augmented reality as an art technique. His work has been exhibited at Miami's Art Basel Circuit, Pictoplasma (Berlin), Argentina, Chile, and Mexico. He is also author of The POP ON OP Book, "Kinetic Watch" in Kyoto Japan and was the first op artist to make an intervention in the Buenos Aires Obelisc.
Rafael’s work is highly influenced by an array of geometric shapes and exhibits a blend of black and white to bright and energetic color palettes. He developed a unique technique to draw mathematically geometrical shapes with pure moire, showing an unprecedented domain of it.
