Passionate about photography since 2005, Nicolas Raymond’s creative journey began with a love for travel and a desire to break away from the status quo after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He is always drawn to discover new places and capture them on camera if only to help cement fleeting moments of life into memory.
Nicolas Raymond’s subject of preference is the great outdoors. Enamored first and foremost with waterfalls and landscapes, he also has a soft spot for architecture and cityscapes. Not confined to photography alone, Nicolas enjoys experimenting with digital art and texture manipulations.
Alongside his creative ambitions, Nicolas volunteers for the mollusk imaging team at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in Washington DC. Starting in 2015 with work that is more technical in nature, the experience has actually given Nicolas the chance to grow as an artist by paying closer attention to details.
