Graduate of Massachusetts College of Art & Design, Laura MacCarthy, has her Bachelor of Fine Arts in the field of Illustration.
Although her artistic styles vary from humorous to serious, and her media ranges from digital editorial illustration to fine art paintings, she maintains a level of depth and connection to everything she does.
Ultimately, her goal is to be a success in the world of editorial illustration. However, she is currently experiencing a range of success as a pet portrait artist, “Having so intimately known what it felt like to lose such a close friend, I know what it means to people when they lose their companions. In each of my pet portraits, I make an unwavering commitment to capturing to emotional nature of the subject.”
