Joey Borovicka is a visual artist from Springfield, Missouri. His training is in painting, but his ideas find their way into digital work, video art, and writing. "I am interested in the experience of spaces, the way I am affected by them, and the way I misremember them. In these images I am free to dwell, decorate, and fantasize. Inhabiting a space is a creative act. We fill our surroundings with personal artifacts and arrange them through the patterns of our dwelling. The spaces depicted in my work are places of solitude and escape."
