Jay Varney

Jay Varney was born in East Patchogue, New York and graduated from Binghamton University with a Bachelors in Fine Arts in Oil Painting. He is a lifelong artist, but he wasn't introduced to oil paints until the summer of 2007 while studying abroad in Ireland. His love for painting has since become his life. Currently, he is working out of the Artspace building in Patchogue, where he draws inspiration from the oceanic views of Long Island, focusing on the ephemeral qualities of water.
