JD Moore

JD was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and have been working as a full time artist in the Dallas/Fort Worth area since 2013.
He began to seriously pursue a career in studio art in 2017 with a membership to a shared studio space located in Oak Cliff, Tx. called The Basement Gallery which later turned into Elevate Studios and remained open until 2020.

During his time at Elevate Studios he was selected to attend artist residences in France and Italy. During his two weeks in France and month in Italy he began to paint larger which lead him to professionally pursue public mural painting back in the states.

In 2022 he was selected to join Cohort 3 at Cedars Union in Dallas, Tx. The competitive eighteen month juried residency program provided personal studio space to him and 13 other artists within a 7,000 sq. ft building full of high-end tech, tools, and workshops.
Currently, he. is pursuing more mural opportunities, practicing CAD (computer aided design) to 3d printing, tattooing clients, and painting new bodies of work.
