Hannes Bend has been exhibiting internationally at museums and galleries since 2004 and his artworks have been acquired for art collections in Berlin, Miami, and New York among many others.
Recent museum exhibitions of Hannes Bend's artworks include shows at The Rubin Museum of Art (2018), The Pérez Art Museum Miami (2018), The Frost Museum of Science (2017) and Bronx Museum of the Arts (2015).

Among the many mediums of artworks are photography, painting, sculpture, installations, videos and performances.

Hannes studied Visual Arts at the Kunsthochschule Berlin under Professor Katharina Grosse, Werner Liebmann and Hanns Schimansky until 2007.

Hannes created in Berlin until 2010 and has lived in in Brooklyn, NY since 2013.
The painting series «CircUlaR» is inspired by the seemingly infinity and impermanence of colors and forms of the world, condensed in make-belief circles and non-repetitive colors.
