Cindy Snider is the epitome of today's self made artist. Prior to 2005, her professional career in Academia could be best described as Director of people and creator of efficient systems and structures. This began to shift one afternoon in search for an overnight delivery store, she instead walked into her local art store and filled a cart rushing home to paint her first "piece" at the age of 40.
Almost two decades later, she finds herself as a recently acknowledged "emerging artist" in the Tempe and Phoenix festival circuit. Long gone the corporate career gave way to her own Consulting Business and Art career.
What first started as displaying her work in local businesses and occasion commission work, has gained momentum of being a in demand artist in her community.
Today her signature style of Modern Geometric, hard-edge designs, her work now is often a focal piece in designer homes and office hallways. Her most notable commissioned piece to date was a 22 foot long backsplash that one of her portfolio pieces inspired.
