Carla Phillips

Carla Phillips’ photographs probe the subtle power of her subjects. Since she bought her first Nikon FE 2 at the age of 15, Carla has been driven to connect with others through her photography. She studied documentary and digital photography at the International Center of Photography and now brings a documentary style to product, event, and lifestyle photography, as well as portraiture. The underlying energy, beauty, detail and emotion of her subjects comes to the fore in each of her shots.

Carla is a life-long native of New York City. In her spare time, she loves surfing, practicing yoga, traveling, volunteering and enjoying the little things in life.
