Bob Gottlieb

Bob began working in the 1990’s in San Diego as a commercial photographer. Most of his current work is done in infrared photography. He believes that while color can be adjusted in various ways to brighten and enliven the world we see, black and white and infrared leave much more to the imagination. Infrared reveals a mysterious, dreamy, and otherworldly quality the eye can't see.
He has won Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and Association of Media Photographers (ASMP) sponsored competitions and has had work published in Landscape Photography Magazine, Outdoor Photography, and other publications. He has instructed photography workshops in Death Valley National Park and Northern Arizona and Utah.
