Alfred Pommer

Alfred Pommer was born and raised in New York City and has lived here all his life. He’s been a self-employed licensed New York City guide since 1990 and has created over 20 neighborhood walking tours in Manhattan focusing on architecture and history along with several neighborhood tours featuring gargoyles. Alfred is also the author of four New York City neighborhood guide books published by The History Press (Arcadia) that explore a neighborhood’s history & architecture.
Alfred has been using his photographic expertise to exploit his past experiences with interesting photographs & prints documenting the architectural decorations on Manhattan’s numerous historical buildings
