Yellow roses are a naturally growing rose discovered in the Middle East around the 18th Century – oddly they do not have the pleasing aroma typical of other roses.
Raised in Zimbabwe and transplanted to the United States as a teenager, Roger has learned to straddle different worlds and cultures. His unique artistic style reflects his diverse background and myriad cultural influences.
After receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, he continued painting at the "Art Students League":http://www.theartstudentsleague.org/ in New York City, Roger now lives and works in Laguna Hills, CA.
Roger’s commissioned portraits, still-lifes, and abstract paintings hang in the homes and offices of patrons throughout the United States. His work has been shown in various galleries in the San Diego, Los Angeles, and Orange County areas in California.
