Wyoming Layers

Piece description from the artist

On a beautiful spring day, I captured the final moments of daylight in the Wyoming wilderness, capturing the transcendent quietude of the alpine landscape. The deep, shadowed blues of the valleys contrast with the warm light of the sunset glowing over the distant, highest peaks made me aware of the vast scale of this landscape. The sunlight highlights the many layers and depth of the American West, and standing atop the mountains always connects me with the peace of nature.
