Woman at the chinatown mall

Woman at the Chinatown Mall

Piece description from the artist

I discovered this mini mall in Chinatown in 2016. There's not much in there but it's always busy! I went on a late night and captured this woman with perfect timing. This photo speaks as a marker of the culture of New York City. Simple in its composition, the actions of those in the photo shine through as if they were placed intentionally. The lighting here offers a deep sense of the underground cultures that exist in this expansive metro.
