The Shortfin Mako shark is known as the fastest species of shark. Though marine biologists debate exactly how fast they can swim, many believe they can reach up to 62 miles per hour.

Matt lives for the adventure of capturing stories in new places throughout the world. Experiencing the beauty found far offshore and in coastal communities have shaped his life. He feels fortunate for a career that has made travel possible while deepening his love/respect for his home and community in Woods Hole, Massachusetts.
