Piece description from the artist
A moment of wonder found me as I captured this image, "Did the vine grow this way on it's own? Was it shaped this way?" I want to believe that it chose to grow this way, that each subtle pull of it's vine brought forth more love and more romance. Perhaps that's wishful thinking, but that's what beauty is for.
Vanessa 'Venusian' Edwards is a Brooklyn-based visual artist, photographer, and Temple alumna who thrives on color, concept, and creativity. Through visually stimulating editing, she loves to emphasize the aspect of story and human emotion in any single photograph. Her favorite saying regarding her work is "human emotion is a lost art", which is something she aims to capture in every shot.
Today she is collaborating with brands and artists across industries to bring visionary ideas to life, exploring herbology and the ceremony of drinking tea, and exploring somatic movement through practice and performance.
